When you are busy, time is extremely valuable. When you take a few steps to get organized, you can make the most of the time you have!
Here are a Few Tips on Getting Organized Daily:
Spend time with God. Even if it seems that we don’t have time to set aside to spend with the Lord, we are actually making a very important investment into our present and future when we do. Time spent with our Heavenly Father will strengthen and energize us to fulfill the things He has planned for us. He will also give us wisdom to carry out everything we do each day with efficiency. We will have an easier time prioritizing the important things when we put Him first each day.
Make a List. Often times, tasks can become overwhelming as they race through our minds. We may even forget some of the important things on our to-do lists if we do not write them down. Spend a few moments at the beginning of each day jotting down the things you need to get done. Be sure to cross them off as you complete them. This will help you feel accomplished and take a load off your mind as you see things getting done.
Prioritize. When we have a to-do list that is a mile long, it can be easy to get sidetracked. I recommend making your to-do list in an order of priorities. That way, even if we don’t get everything done for that day, we will still feel a sense of accomplishment if we know our top priorities have been fulfilled for that day.
Plan Ahead. One of the keys to living a healthy lifestyle is being organized and planning ahead. Using the Dashing Dish meal plan builder is an excellent tool to help you plan your meals in advance and get organized. Each step you take to plan and prepare will save you stress when things get busy.
Clean as You Go. There may be times when we are so busy that our lives seem to leave a ‘trail’ of clutter behind us. In times like these, it is important to clean up messes and stay organized as we go, so that our surroundings don’t overwhelm us. When our lives are free from clutter, we are able to operate more efficiently and with less stress over all.
