The holiday season is officially upon us, and while it is a magical time, it can also be easy to get lost in the busyness of the season if we aren't intentional! One fun way that Sean and I have made Jesus and family the focus of the season is through advent scriptures and activities!
When Maddie was about two years old, we bought an advent calendar with pockets, and Sean filled it with hand written scriptures and something fun we could do as a family. Every evening for the month of December, we would have Maddie pull the paper out of the pocket, and we would read the scripture out loud, discussing what it meant, and follow with the family activity that allowed us to make meaningful memories.
This tradition has quickly become something we all look forward to every year, so I knew it was too good not to share! This year we have made a printable version of our 25 advent scriptures and family activities to share, and we pray it becomes a cherished tradition in your family as it has ours!
