Good morning friends! Per many of your request; Here is a look into my daily life! Of course every day is a bit different, especially being that Dashing Dish, family life, and Maddie has me doing different things in different seasons, but here is the most current daily life for me! I try to stick to a schedule the best I can Monday through Friday, and the weekends are kept open for more friends, family, planning for the week ahead, and of course fun!
Keeping a rough schedule helps me stay on track being that I work from home. Sean and I juggle time with Maddie and work, which gives me undistracted time throughout my day to focus when I need to, but also be present when I need to be. I try my best to get things done on my phone, computer, etc. when I have my "work" time, so that when I am with family, I am with them. Of course, I don't do this perfectly, but it's my daily goal to keep Jesus and family the main thing! Here's a rough schedule I try to keep on the week days:

As you can see, my day starts with coffee around 5-5:30 am. I unload dishes while I make my coffee and enjoy a small snack durning that time. I am someone that always wakes up hungry, and typically have a Dashing Dish no-bake ball, muffin, or 1/2 a homemade protein bar.

Then it's my favorite time of day- my time with Jesus! This Spirit Filled Life Bible is my all time favorite bible, because of the commentary and notes being almost like a devotional that goes along with the scriptures.

After getting some coffee, a huge glass of water, and time with Jesus in, I either go to the gym, or workout in my basement (which I do four days a week. I love strength training, and typically am in and out in 45-60 minutes).
On the days I don't workout, I typically take a walk, which I equally have come to love! It's where I get some of my best prayer and worship times in!

When I get home I shower and throw on some comfy clothes, and sometimes some basic makeup, which often makes me feel more productive for my day.
I then sit down with my computer and eat a protein shake, and if I'm really hungry I'll have a Dashing Dish muffin or baked good broken up in my protein shake, which tastes like brownies in ice cream!

During breakfast I will also have a cup of decaf coffee and answer emails, social media questions and messages, as well as post my recipe, blog post, etc. for the day. I also plan what I will be working on, whether it be creating recipes, filming, etc. for the day in the morning. I try to get all of this done before 10 am, when I swap with Sean and take over with Maddie.

10 am- Noon is Maddie and mommy time! One of my favorite times of the day! I feel so blessed to be able to spend this time with her and be at home to do so! I typically do crafts with her, bake with her, or take her somewhere like the library, gymnastics, or the children's museum.
Around noon I prepare lunch, which really means heating up leftovers, or putting together whatever I have meal prepped for the week.

After we eat, I clean up and one of us puts Maddie to bed for her nap; And then the work begins! Thankfully Maddie has always been a pretty good sleeper, so we can pretty much bet on nap times being a solid block to work. Sean and I take from 1-3 to plug away.
I tend to make recipes and take pictures during this time, or depending on what I'm working on for Dashing Dish, I may be working on my computer along with Sean in his office, while he works on a graphic design project.

During this time we usually let Maddie help me finish up some recipes, watch a show on Minno, or play independently in her playroom, (what used to be my office), while we juggle wrapping up work, and around 5 pm I start dinner.

Dinner is usually really quick to prepare thanks to the fact that I get things started during my meal prep on Sundays. If I don't have the meal fully prepped, a lot of times I will at least have my produce washed and ready to chop and throw a meal together, making it super easy and fast to get food on the table.

After dinner Sean loads the dishes (praise the Lord), and we spend time as a family until getting Maddie ready for bed around 7 pm. We follow a bedtime routine of giving her a bath, read a book, sing and pray almost every night which helps her wind down and be down around 7:30 pm. The rest of the night is then ours to relax, talk, watch a movie, or read a book together. I typically have a cup of tea or decaf coffee which I find helps stave off "snacking" around the evening, or I have popcorn or a treat like my one minute mug cake or a DD dessert if I'm truly still hungry, and then I fall asleep around 9 pm, since I am an early riser!

I hope this Day in the Life was a fun look into my daily routine! I find that it can be helpful to see how others structure their routine when i'm looking to set one myself, so I hope it provided some inspiration for you as well! Have a great week friends! xo Katie
