Happy Friday friends! I hope you all have had another wonderful month of summer! We are trying cherish and savor every moment of sunshine here in Michigan, since it isn't around for long! Here are a few of my favorites from the month of July!

One of the best times of not only the month but the entire season no doubt was our Fourth of July celebration!

The best part about the Fourth of July!? My sister Sarah and her family came home to Michigan!!! There is no greater gift than when we all get to be together as a family; And our kids (all really close in age), have the best time together!

Lately I've been loving nothing more than grilled food! We grill meat, veggies, and even fruit for dessert pretty much all summer long! Sometimes I keep it simple and grill a big batch of marinated chicken, and sometimes I get fancy with steaks or kabobs; But either way, we definitely take advantage of grilling season!

Another "bright" spot to the month of July was meeting my besties new baby, Ruby! She is a rainbow baby and such a long awaited gift for my sweet friend Dayna and her husband Matt! Of course every baby is so very special, but there is something so sweet about seeing a promise fulfilled with a new life after heart ache!

And last but not least, the moments I'm treasuring most are those that are slow and restful, which typically come with summer days around here! My parents live on a lake and have a boat, which is one of my favorite ways to soak up time with family and in the sun!
