So much of the world tells you to believe in yourself, be fearless, and believe you can do anything you put your mind to. Now that might be good if you choose to be a lifeguard and need to have confidence in your swimming ability. But what about when you have to take action and are aware of your limitations? Self Confident beliefs have limitations, our worldly selves have limitations and life has limitations.

God Confident Women have the ability to be courageous. As our confidence in God grows, so does our courage. It allows us the willingness to do something that is frightening or perhaps even impossible. But when we use the Lord’s strength over our own the possibilities become limitless. The confidence we exude through Christ is limitless; the abilities to overcome eating disorders, finding our lifestyle through health and more are all possible with God.

Did you know that most women in the world today don’t have the confidence to think of themselves as beautiful? In fact, less than 1% of women polled all over the world would actually consider themselves beautiful. While it is easy for us to speak that of other women and even use other women as a comparison to ourselves, we can’t speak that word about ourselves.

God made each one of us in unique and beautiful ways. He truly sees us as perfection and through his lenses we are. Beauty comes from your heart, your love for God, your love for one another. It doesn’t come from the clothes you wear, the photos you look good in or the words that others speak of you. It comes from our loving Father, the Holy Spirit who lives inside of you.

There are so many stories throughout the Bible filled with models of valor. Each one with different trials and tribulations, lifestyles, experiences and social connections; but what they each have in common is that courageous confidence in God. To know that you have endless limitations through Christ is empowering and encouraging.

So begin to see yourself through the lens that God sees you. Begin to grow in courage so that your faith is limitless in Jesus. Become a Woman with God Confidence instead of a Woman with Self Confidence.
