It's hard to believe we have been in our new home in Tennessee for a few weeks already, and the fact that we are already a few weeks into August! That being said, this post is long overdue, but it was so special that it was worth posting, even if it's about a month late! Here's a look into our going away party - thrown by our sweetest friend - Christmas in July!

Our best friends, (the Mager family) threw us a Christmas in July themed going away party, because truly there is nothing better than the Christmas celebrations we shared with our friends over the years! From our annual gingerbread parties, to the Christmas get-togethers and bible studies, we truly have the most precious memories around the holidays with our friends! Dayna wanted to send us off in style, and since we were moving in July, she thought there was no better way to say "bye bye for now!"

Dayna went ALL OUT - And I mean all out- she went as far as pulling out her Christmas trees!

Each family wore a color for the games, ours was pink of course!

The kids decorated gingerbread houses!

We enjoyed Root -Deer- Floats...

And breakfast for dinner!

Of course, it wouldn't be a party with our friends without some friendly competition!

And of course we had the best conversations, hugs, and good-byes... for now! God surely blessed us with the most amazing friends over the years, and it will be one of the things I miss the most about the mitten state!
