Maddie just turned 8, and we celebrated with a party all centered around her favorite thing: American Girl dolls! She invited a few of her closest girlfriends, and they brought their dolls for the sweetest little party!

We set out her dolls, as well as my old doll which I gave to Maddie last year, (this was the start to her love for AG!)

The table was set for girls and dolls alike with mini teacups and treats. Watching them talk and laugh with their dolls in tow was the highlight of the day.

I got mini AG tiara's from the store, and matching tiara's for the girls from Hobby Lobby. I also got a birthday cake cookie for each girl to take home from the AG store.

Each doll had a clip on seat to enjoy treats with their girls at the table!

The girls made mini birthday cakes for their dolls out of round boxes, washi tape, and jewels— the perfect pint-sized treats! Then, we decorated matching puffy paint shirts for the girls and their dolls. They also made bracelets — one for each girl and one for her doll, a sweet little way to remember the day.

I can't believe my girl is eight! It seems like yesterday she was a baby in my arms!

It was a birthday filled with lots of giggles and joy — just like Maddie. I’ll always cherish this sweet moment in time and the memories made with friends!
