Hole in One, Ollie Turns 1!

Its hard to believe my baby is turning one!!! Where does the time go!? It's true what they say that the days are long but the years are short! Ollie has been such a blessing to our family, and he is such a go-with-the-flow baby! He is a good eater, a good sleeper, and he is happy pretty much all the time! He adores his big sister, and he loves balls, golf clubs, and playing catch! He is almost walking, and he can say momma, dada, and Hi! His smile lights up the room, and he is already a mommas boy through and through! He is truly a gift from God!

Oliver turns one on June 24, but since we had family and friends in town for Maddie's birthday, we decided to do celebrate both birthdays in one weekend! It was such a joyous occasion to celebrate with everyone we love! And of course, Oliver had to have a golf theme birthday!

Food was fun, as I did a golf theme with each snack and dessert item!

Cookies were from a local bakery...

And the cake and cupcakes were from Emily's mother in law, who makes incredible cakes!

I made the white chocolate suckers, which we gave the name "Ollie Pops" which is our nickname for Ollie!

His little golf polo romper was from Masionette, as was Maddie's dress.

For activities, we had sports stuff set outside, as well as a bounce house, water table, and water balloons for the kids.

Now the moment everyone waits for when it comes to a first birthday... The smash cake!

Ollie didn't smash his cake, but he did dig in pretty good! He licked the frosting off his fingers and offered a "bite" to everyone around, which was sweet!
