The past week went so quick, I barely remember what happened~ I guess that's what happens when you work full-time, (and work the weekend)! This was my first week off-orientation..And it was very scary at first...But I am also loving the feeling of walking in the room and being able to say, 'Hi, my name is Katie, and I'm your nurse for tonight!' :)
God is sooo good, and I have so many praise reports when I finish work every night! He has given me so much favor with every one I work with, and even my patients! I find it interesting how the nurse before me will 'warn' me that a patient was 'difficult', and when I go in the room with a smile, (and show them compassion), they are suddenly sweet as a pea! :)
People are hungry for God's love, and when we allow His love to flow through us, people are often drawn to us, and suddenly become receptive, even when they previously were closed off! For this very reason, it has become my daily goal to get 'myself' off my mind, so i'm able to reach others with His compassion and love!
I pray you will all come to know His Great Love, because He truly loves each and every one of you!!!
Now on to the Daily Dish!
On my day off this past week, I started the day with none-other than my "Milkshake" for breakfast! It's so rich and creamy...It's always a great way to start a warm summer day! :)

For lunch I had a Chocolate Waffle! This is a Newly-Created Recipe that I will be posting soon! :)

For a mid-day snack, I was in the baking mood and made some 'Skinny' Peanut Butter Cookies! They were soft-moist-delicious and had only 50 calories a cookie ! (Another new recipe I will be posting soon!)

I had some Carba-Nada Alfredo with Sweet Peas and Spinach for dinner, it was delicious and filling!

For dessert I made some Homemade Chocolate Protein Ice Cream! Yummmm!
I subbed cocoa powder for the PB, and chocolate soy milk for regular...It was the perfect treat after the Alfredo, since I usually crave a sweet-cold treat after a warm-salty meal! :)

I pray you all experience God's favor and Love as you go about this week! I know I sure will need it as I work another 6 day work week! :)
Have a blessed day!!!!
