What a wonderful week! I have been feeling SO hungry for the things of God lately, and it's funny, because the more I seek after Him, the more hungry I get! You see, this is the awesome thing about God; The more I spend time with Him the more 'full' of Him I get...Yet at the same time, the more time I spend with Him, the more 'hungry' I am for Him! Does that make sense!?! Haha! :) It's awesome though, and I know from experience that He is the only thing that fills!!!
One thing that I have learned as some tough circumstances have come a'knocking at my door this week is that peace doesnt reside in circumstances, it only resides in the heart. When you know god personally, you live more confidently, regardless of situations and circumstances. And when you have Christ in you, and the Armor of God on you, you have an UNBEATABLE combination that will overcome anything and everything in this world!
That's why God said, in John 16:33, "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." You see, God never said we wouldn't have troubles, in fact, He said we WOULD have trouble, but He also told us to take heart, or HAVE PEACE, because with and through Him, we will overcome the circumstances of this world, because He has already made a way for us to do that! :)
Now on to the Daily Dish!
For breakfast I used a new flavor Designer Whey came out with (or new to me anyways!) It was still an all-natural flavor, but had a hint of almond! I paired it with maple extract and it was AMAZING! A Maple Almond Protein Shake was just what was in order for the beginning of the fall season!

Thick and Creamy!!! :)

I made a quick lunch because my husband and I were off to spend the day at the mall! My kind of day off! :)
I had a Chocolate Greek Yogurt, (I simply mixed in a tsp cocoa powder and 2 stevia packets!)

I paired the yogurt with a LaTortilla Wrap that I filled with a quick and easy Chicken Salad. I used this White Meat Chicken, Light Miracle Whip, Salt/Pepper, and a few Sliced almonds and spread it on a wrap!

And there you have it...A Filling and Satisfying lunch in a jiffy!

I grabbed one of my Triple Chocolate Chunk Muffins I made earlier, I made this batch with mini-chips and instead of mixing any of the chips in the batter, I put all of them on top! I put the chips on the muffins right before they went in the oven, and they didn't sink like the big chips did! It made for a decadent snack! :)

I ADORE these muffins, can you tell!?! :)

For dinner I had another meal that's quick and easy to prepare! I made a Pizza with 2 Morning Star Burgers crumbled on top for protein! These burgers are wonderful, and they have cheese built-into them, so I only need to add a bit of pizza sauce, a few sprinkles of Parmesan, and some sliced veggies, and I had a delicious Personal Pizza!

I made 2 versions that I thought I would share...One with Red Bell Pepper, Tomato, and Onion.

And another with Tomato and lots of Spinach (it was frozen and I de-thawed it for quick cooking)! :)

For dessert, it was my brother in-laws birthday, so we all got together to share in the celebration and I brought along a Light Cookies and Cream Pie! It was a hit, and I think we all enjoyed it so much that we managed to polish off all 8 pieces! :)

We love you Phil! Happy Birthday!!!

Yum-Yum~ It was tasty! :) I'll try and post the recipe soon!

Have a blessed weekend, and remember, no matter what you are going through, Christ has the answer! With and through Him you can overcome THE WORLD! :)
