If you haven't noticed by now, I try to keep things simple at Dashing Dish recipes and use many of the same staple clean eating ingredients. The very first time I stepped foot into Trader Joes and found some of these clean eating ingredients, at a fraction of the price, I was sold! Here are some of my favorite clean eating finds at Trader Joes!

I highly recommend having some frozen veggies in your freezer at all times, so when you are in a pinch you have a source of vegetables ready to go in just about 15 minutes. I like to roast these french green beans for my Green Bean Fries, or this organic broccoli using garlic powder, salt, and parmesan cheese.

Speaking of veggies, these veggie burgers are a great source of veggies that are quick and Maddie loves! They are a great quick source of veggies for her when I'm in a pinch.

As far as lunches, I love to have a few ingredients on hand for salads, one of my favorites being Mediterranean Salads, which these ingredients are perfect for!

I also always buy a few bags of lettuce for my salads. These three are my favorite kind of lettuce.

I use cheese in quite a few of my recipes, and Maddie loves string cheese. When buying cheese I try to buy organic due to the fact that it is an animal product. What I love about Trader Joes is the organic products tend to be less expensive, while still being wonderful in quality.

This shopping trip I was buying for a peanut butter ice cream cake, which I prefer to buy organic or a cleaner version of peanut butter cups for.

One of my favorite things about TJ's is the unique products they offer! I always pick up a container of their Egg White Salad for a quick snack or lunch, as well as their Tomato Basil Hummus and salsa.

I also always stock up on their meat. It is always a great price for quality protein!

TJ's is known for their excellent coffee, so I always buy a few cans while I'm there.

They are also known for their wonderful produce. I happened to find these veggie kabobs on a day we planned to grill, and they made a lovely (and fast) addition to our grilled chicken we had that evening. I typically make items like these, but once in a while I will buy them when I know it will be a busy evening when i get home from shopping.

These jarred peaches and pears are perfect for Maddie, as they are already soft and skinned. All I have to do is cut them up, and they are jarred in grape juice rather than high fructose corn syrup.

I also bought some veggie patties for Maddie when I am in a pinch and can't make something homemade.

I also got a few "fun" toppings for salads. This Green Goddess Dressing is amazing on Mexican inspired salads!

Speaking of Mexican, I loved having these peppers in my freezer for a quick and easy Fajita dish when my parents came over on short notice! I always recommend having quick and healthy go-to's that are in your freezer or pantry when you have unexpected company or don't have time to meal plan.

This Red Lentil pasta was a win with my picky hubby, and one year old! Made with only one ingredient: Red lentils, which is high in fiber and protein. A winner for sure!

For Maddie I typically make my own bread, or buy Ezekiel, but I saw this and thought I would give it a try due to the nutrition being pretty spot on. She loved it! I made grilled cheese and nut butter sandwiches on it.

And there you have it! These are my go-to clean eating Trader Joes staples! I hope this helped inspire you for your next Trader Joes shopping trip! I would love to know...what do you love to get at TJ's!?! xo Katie
