We’ve all heard the phrase, “Life doesn’t come with an instruction manual.” Do you know that’s not true? Life does come with an instruction manual. Not only that, but it also comes with one that gives instructions for the very best life. A holy life!

Leviticus 19 gives us a glimpse into the good, good heart of God, who gives us everything we need to live a victorious life. We don’t have to postulate how our Father wants us to live our best life. He tells us – everything from worship and finances to rules and righteousness – He tells us. Don’t mistake thinking that this holy instruction manual is an outdated, irrelevant Old Testament account. Leviticus 19 is given ample attention in the New Testament as well. It’s our anointed, timely guide to holy living.

God calls Himself Immanuel, God WITH us. He’s mysterious, but he’s not secretive, immeasurable, but not silent. From the beginning of time, the essence of our God has been to know and be known. Do you desire more of His presence? Seek Him, and you shall know Him. Do you want to know His mind for how to be holy before Him? Do you desire to live according to His perfect will for you? Seek His word. May you spend more time reading the instruction manual for holiness than you do any other source. It’s always your best possible guidebook.
