If you haven't noticed by now, I try to keep things simple at Dashing Dish recipes (as well as in my own cooking), and use many of the same staple clean eating ingredients. The very first time I stepped foot into Costco and found some of these ingredients available in bulk, at a fraction of the price, I was sold! That being said, I thought I would share a few of the staples that can frequently be found in Dashing Dish recipes here with you guys!
Let's get shopping shall we!?!
I use unsweetened almond milk in many of my recipes, but also in my smoothies, to make a homemade latte, and sometimes just to drink! Not to mention, this is a great deal on organic almond milk!

This is my favorite brand of almond and peanut flour, and they are a fraction of the price!

I like the fine green beans (for my green bean fries), the Roma tomatoes for salads and recipes, and the Mediterranean salad kit is great to have on hand for lunches.

Also, I love any of the salad mixes Costco offers, however, I will say that I don't use the packaged dressings, and rarely use the toppings it comes with. I more or less buy them for the lettuce mixture, which is always a great deal!

A lot of the fresh veggies such as broccoli, bell peppers, cucumbers, asparagus, and cauliflower.

This hummus is one of my favorites! I use it on salads, wraps, for dipping veggies, and in recipes.

Lemon juice (for flavoring water), and organic marinara sauce

They also sell Halo Top in bulk now! They come in packages of only one flavor, but it saves you a lot of money when compared to buying them individually. I will say however that if having ice cream is a huge temptation to you- I wouldn't necessarily recommend buying it in bulk! ;) I typically only keep ice cream in my freezer for special occasions, so for times like these, it is nice to save money and buy it in bulk.

I love to get the big container of cottage cheese (for my shakes), feta (for salads, etc.) and parmesan which I use on salads, and in tons of my recipes.

You can't beat the great prices on the organic canned foods! I like getting tomato sauce and diced tomatoes to use in chilis, soups, etc.

In most of my pasta recipes I suggest using lentil, bean, or quinoa based pastas. These are great options, and you save money buying them in bulk! My picky husband will even eat these! ;)

I also like to get the Fage Greek yogurt in a larger size at Costco. This is my favorite brand of Greek yogurt by far!

You can't beat the prices on the organic fruits and veggies! I like strawberries, green beans, broccoli, and the stir fry mix.

I am a huge fan of La Croix! When you want some pizzaz added to your drinking water- this stuff is the best! I like to save money and get it in bulk, as I typically have 1-2 cans per day.

Have you guys tried these bean crisps!?! They are incredible! They are only 100 calories per bag, and they are high in fiber and protein! They make the perfect on-the-go snack, or they can be added to a salad for crunch!

If you are a fan of Quest Bars, these are comparable in flavor and nutrition at half the price!

I love to get my organic meat from Costco! It is honestly one of the things that sold me on a membership because you can save so much money on organic animal products! I like to buy it in bulk and freeze whatever I am not using.

And there you have it! These are my go-to clean eating Costco staples! I also love to grab some paper towel, toilet paper, diapers, and trash bags when I go, (all Kirkland brand), which saves us a lot of money in the long run! I hope this helped inspire you for your next Costco shopping trip! I would love to know...what do you love to get at Costco!?! xo Katie
