Starting at the beginning of each week I will be sharing my personal weekly meal plans, and even quick and easy and crockpot meal plans some weeks! It is my hope that by sharing my weekly meal plans, that it provides inspiration and motivation for you guys as well!

At the end of each week (typically on a Saturday), I begin to think about my meal plan for the coming week. I get on Dashing Dish and look through the recipes for inspiration if I'm not sure what I feel like making. (I also use the filter options on the left and side to help narrow down the selection, since there are over 1,000 recipes.) Once I find meals and snacks that I want to prepare for that week, I start adding them to my custom meal plan calendar and grocery list!

In my meal plan you will see a few different breakfast items if I am having a shake (because I generally eat part of my breakfast before a workout, and the shake after), and I have various snacks throughout my day, and the occasional dessert! Since it is just my husband and I, I generally have leftovers for meals that carry over to the next day! In addition, when making snacks, they can sometimes last me two weeks if I put them in the freezer, so I don't always make snacks every week, depending on what I have leftover from the previous week. This is a huge time saver!
After I make my calendar, I print it off, and hang it on my fridge so I can look at it throughout the week. (I typically use my Dashing Dish iPhone App to check things off my list at the grocery list at the store, but there is an option to print that as well).
Here are a few snapshots of my meal-prep and food throughout the week! As I have shared in previous meal prep posts... I like to prep my produce (wash & cut), snacks, and meats for the week to throw together to make a recipe on Sunday or Monday, (I will also boil pasta or quinoa if I am having a recipe that requires them). I do this step at the very least if it is a busy start to the week, otherwise if I have more time on a Sunday, I will prep as many full recipes as possible in advance. These pictures are not everything I ate/made for the week, but it is a general idea based off of the meal plan. I hope this is helpful for you guys! So, what do you say...Let's get cooking!
