My workout schedule is a key part of my routine, and I make sure to stay consistent with five days a week of exercise. I focus on maintaining muscle, prioritizing my overall health, and boosting my energy levels so I can feel my best. My typical week includes a mix of strength training and cardio, with each day targeting different muscle groups or fitness goals. I’m careful to allow adequate recovery time for each muscle group, and I always make sure to include a warm-up and cool-down to avoid injury. Having this structure not only helps me stay strong and fit, but it also gives me confidence and energy for the day!
Heres what a typical week looks like for me as far as workouts:
- Monday: Full Body Gym Workout
- Tuesday: Cardio (45-60 Minute Walk or 30 Minute Pelton Bike Ride)
- Wednesday: Upper Body Gym Workout
- Thursday: Rest
- Friday: Cardio (45-60 Minute Walk or 30 Minute Pelton Bike Ride)
- Saturday: Lower Body Gym Workout
- Sunday: Rest
It wasn’t always easy for me to be consistent with my workout routine—at first, I struggled with consistency and finding a routine that worked for me. But over time, I realized that starting small and sticking to a plan was the key. In the beginning, I worked out from home, which I still do at times, and I highly recommend to anyone just starting out. You don’t need a fancy gym membership to get moving! Whether it’s bodyweight exercises or simple at-home equipment, getting started in a familiar, low-pressure environment can really help you stay motivated.
Most importantly, I’d recommend finding something you truly enjoy that helps build strength and endurance. When you enjoy the process, it doesn’t feel like a chore. For those looking to start their own fitness journey, I’ve created a free workout download below to help you get going. It’s a great starting point, and I hope it helps you feel as strong and energized as I do every day! Now lets get moving! xo Katie
